HOW TO IMPROVE YOURSELF & BE BETTER



Hi Lavs!

You know, there is a saying, life is a learning process and as long as you live, you will never stop learning. I kind of agree with that, because I always have this wish that hopefully someday.. I can be the best version of me.

With that being said, I thrive to be better every single day (well, maybe not every single day, because some days I'm just being a plain lazy bum, but you get what I mean)

Here are some of my tips on how you can improve yourself 
(or at least try to.. like me haha)

*   BE UPDATED WITH THE WORLD   *
Being updated with the news is very important. I always find a person more interesting when he/she knows a lot about what's going on these days. Also, there is a lot of interesting stuff on the news, you might enjoy it!

One easy way to be updated with the news is reading (on the internet of course)

Wiki news portal (for some legit news) This is really the headlines of what is happening all over the world. It is optional if you want to read deeper into it or not. 
- Buzzfeed for some news, trends and also entertaining videos! I love buzzfeed! Tell me in the comments if you love Buzzfeed too :)

*  KEEP YOUR SPIRITUAL HEALTH IN CHECK  *

For me, I do daily devotion to really keep my spiritual health in check. I think having a balanced life is very important if you want to be a better person. Give your soul positive 'food' because it helps you to be more positive

*    LEARN A NEW LANGUAGE    *

When someone can speak few different languages, he/she will automatically appear smarter to me. That's why I am trying to learn a new language little by little.
There is this app called Duolingo that you can download on your smart phone. This app makes learning a new language way more fun. Currently trying to squeeze in a few French words to my brain, we'll see how it goes.

PAY MORE ATTENTION TO YOUR BODY  *

From inside and outside, you should take care of your body both ways.


What I mean from the inside is, you should aim for healthier life. MyFitnesspal is an app where you can log in the food you eat and the app will count the total calories. You can set your daily calories limit and see whether you succeed in staying within the limit. I read somewhere that if you take note of the food you eat, you become more aware and there is smaller chance of over eating.
Also be aware of what you eat, try incorporate healthier food.

While caring for your body from the outside can be done by using skin care and exercise. More tips about that here.

Remember, small improvement is still an improvement :)
And don't aim for perfection, because nobody is perfect 
As long as you have the will and do your best to improve, you are doing good.
